All beaches in the Monterey Bay Area will be mostly closed over the labor day weekend between the hours of 5am to 4pm…. Due to corona virus concerns.
The closure allows for folks to use the water but no lounging on the beach except between the hours of 4 to 8 when beachgoers are allowed to enjoy the beach and the ocean. In addition many state parks and campgrounds are closed because of fire danger.
The 17-mile drive in Pebble Beach will also be closed to tourists. Beaches will re-open on Tuesday. And remember keep your social distance and wear your mask.
