(11:20) Salinas – A man has been arrested on charges connected to a double homicide in Salinas. 19 year-old Juan Soto, of Hollister, is charged with fatally shooting 41 year-old Emilio Barrera and 28 year-old Antonio Ortega. The shooting took place on May 15, on the 1300 block of Garner Avenue. Soto has also been identified as the driver in a separate attempted murder on May 1st at Mae and Towt Streets. A 14-year-old male was stabbed after being asked what gang he belonged to while walking home. Soto was booked into Monterey County Jail on two counts of homicide and one count of attempted homicide.
