(09:25) Santa Cruz – Santa Cruz CHP announced they will be conducting a DUI checkpoint tomorrow starting at 9 p.m.. The DUI checkpoint will be on Capitola Road, between 17th Avenue and Foster Court Avenue. The DUI checkpoint is being conducted in an effort to combat the losses caused by impaired driving. Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Safety Traffic Administration.
