(16:05) WATSONVILLE/MOSS LANDING – A 21 year-old Moss Landing man was airlifted to a Bay Area Trauma Center this morning, after he was the victim of a drive-by shooting in Watsonville. The incident took place just before 11 o’clock, as he was driving northbound on North Main Street (approaching the intersection of East Front Street). His 6 year-old daughter, who was in the backseat of his car, was uninjured in the shooting, and is being cared for by her family. The shooter was in a black, early 1990’s Honda-style vehicle. Anyone with any information about this morning’s shooting is encouraged to contact the Watsonville Police Department. The shooting victim (who was also shot nearby in Watsonville 2 years ago) was reportedly in Watsonville to get his hair cut, before getting married this afternoon.
