(9:15) SANTA CRUZ- Downed power lines started several small fires and interrupted electrical service in Santa cruz Friday night. At about 7:30 p.m. fire crews respond to fires threatening 25 homes on the 100 block of Alamo Street and the 500 block of Arroyo Seco. The fire were found to be started by downed wires and P-G and E crews cut power to the area. Fire crews were then able to extinguish the blazes before any structures were damaged. Power was restored to the area shortly before midnight.
