(9:50) SALINAS- Salinas police are investigating a fatal shooting. At about 1:30 a.m. patrol uits responded to reports of a shooting on the 700 block of Elton Place. Arriving officer found a 29 year old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead by medical personnel. Authorities say the man had gone outside to cleanup after a birthday party when the shooting occurred, anyone with information is asked to contact Salinas police.
