(18:05)SANTA CRUZ- The identity of the person in the attempted water rescue near the Santa Cruz Lighthouse last weekend has been identified. On Saturday multiple agencies responded with every available resource to search and rescue a man from the ocean. The search turned into a recovery effort that continued along the coastline throughout the next day. 24 year old Dang Haus of Utah is now considered a missing person until a body is recovered. There is on evidence of foul play and no indication that the victim intended to harm himself. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has information is asked to contact Santa Cruz police.
