A Scotts Valley resident was arrested and taken into custody today, after he assaulted his housemate with a knife. 39-year-old Marc Anthony Dempster held a knife against the victim’s neck and threatened to cut him. When officers responded to the scene around 2:17 p.m. on the 300 block of Baja Sol Drive, they found pressure marks on the victim’s neck that were consistent to a knife being held against it. Officers found Dempster in the garage where he refused to cooperate and resisted arrest.
