(09:40) Monterey – Monterey County District Attorney’s Office announced a Monterey resident is required to register as a sex offender. 53 year old James Jeffrey Nichols was found guilty by a jury of indecent exposure, a felony offense and committing a lewd act in public. Surveillance video captured Nichols exposing himself to an elderly lady while he was riding the Monterey Salinas Transit. Nichols has served a prison sentence or two prior convictions for indecent exposure in 2013 and 2014.
