(07:53) WATSONVILLE – The Watsonville Planning Commission has approved a proposal to develop the former site of the Indalex aluminum factory. The project on West Beach Street would include a service station, four restaurants and two hotels. The 7-acre development is expected to cost $1.4 million annually. On Tuesday night, the commission voted unanimously to recommend the project. The proposal will next go to the city council for consideration. (S.G.)
