(06:19) WATSONVILLE – Police are investigating an attempted homicide that occurred in Watsonville Tuesday night. The incident reportedly took place around 7 p.m. in the area of Prospect Street and Freedom Boulevard. Officials say a 24-year-old Hispanic man was walking down the street when he was approached by a brown or gold vehicle occupied by three Hispanic men. A passenger got out of the car and opened fire on the victim, striking him multiple times in the torso. The victim was later transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He has been uncooperative with investigators. The suspect vehicle was last seen in the area of Lincoln and Broadis streets. (S.G.)
