(07:00) SALINAS – A national industry watchdog organization has recognized the accomplishments of Natividad Medical Center in Salinas. The Leapfrog Group has awarded an “A” grade to the facility, after giving the hospital failing safety grades for two consecutive years. The center has been recognized for improving their performance in a number of areas, including the minimization of errors, injuries, and infections. The organization evaluated over 2,500 hospitals across the U.S. Only around 30 percent received an ‘A’ grade. (S.G.)
