(06:38) SANTA CRUZ – A teenager was arrested in the Live Oak area of Santa Cruz over the weekend on suspicion of burglarizing a gas station. Deputies were dispatched to the business early Sunday morning, following a report of a break-in. At the scene, investigators discovered that the burglar had smashed the gas station’s front window, stolen several items and checked the register for cash. Shortly after, deputies found a 16-year-old male running from the area. He was found in possession of the stolen property. The teen was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. (S.G.)
