(07:52) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Deputies have released additional information on the arrest of a Santa Cruz man suspected of several bank robberies. 53-year-old Randall Scott Dowling allegedly robbed a Santa Cruz County Bank in Aptos, as well as Comerica Bank and Bank of the West in Capitola. Following the robbery at Bank of the West on Wednesday, investigators were led to a home on Berkeley Way in Santa Cruz. Dowling was caught leaving the residence in a vehicle being driven by 57-year-old Samuel Joseph. Dowling was apprehended and Joseph was taken into custody for accessory after the fact. Dowling remains in jail in lieu of $300,000 bail. (S.G.)
