April 11, 2016: Salinas Man Sustains Non-Life-Threatening Injuries in Shooting

(06:19) SALINAS – A man sustained non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in Salinas Sunday night. The 20-year-old was reportedly walking on Sieber Street at Orchard Avenue shortly before 10:30 p.m. when he was shot several times. The victim was transported to the hospital and is expected to recover. He has been uncooperative with investigators. The gunman was described as a Hispanic male wearing dark clothing, possibly a dark gray flannel shirt and blue jeans. Anyone with information is to contact Salinas police. (S.G.)
