April 10, 2016:Monterey Injury Lawsuit Moves Forward

(11:49) MONTEREY- A Monterey County judge has ruled that an injury lawsuit filed against Monterey can move forward. The suit was filed against the city by former Monterey Peninsula Unified School District Superintendent Marilyn Shepherd after she injured her ankle when she stepped into a pothole on Webster Street in 2014. Sheppard is seeking 750 thousand dollars for damages to her quality of life. The trial is set to proceed on May 2nd.
