Animal Investigation Leads to Drug Charges 10-08-18n03:50 DC

A suspected animal abuse call led to the arrest of a Monterey County man on a variety of drug charges. No animals were injured, though they were taken by animal control.

Jesse Lillibridge was arrested after deputies learned he had a variety of drugs, including Adderall, cocaine, Ecstasy, marijuana, marijuana edibles, mushrooms, and Xanax. The drugs had an estimated street value of $7,000.

He also had more than 100 grams of what officers’ suspect is an illegal synthetic drug, now being tested. Lillibridge was arrested and booked into the Monterey County jail on drug charges.
