The Internet and inexpensive genetic testing have made ancestry information more widely available than ever before. That’s according to Jack Tessler, one of the organizers of an Ancestry Fair taking place in Santa Cruz this Saturday. Tessler says technology has increased interest in learning about ancestors, especially among the young.
The Ancestry Fair takes place from 3 until 6 p-m this Saturday at the Latter-Day Saints’ community center. It is located at 220 Elk Street, take the Morrissey exit from Highway One.
