A second King City police officer has been convicted on gun charges. The Monterey county District Attorney’s office announced yesterday (Thursday) that 33 year old Jose Hernandez was found guilty of misdemeanor brandishing stemming from an incident last October when he burst into the bedroom of an ex-girlfriend he shared a home with after hearing what he described intimate sounds. He then questioned her and a man about their relationship at gunpoint. He faces a 10 year ban on owning firearms and 90 days in jail when he is sentenced on April 25th.
