A pre-school is now set to open….just a short time before another pre-school is due to close on the Monterey Peninsula. The pre-school at the Presidio Of Monterey is expected to close by mid-December….and the Monterey United Methodist Church’s pre-school is now scheduled to open soon. The church’s pre-school, which has passed its state inspections, and is expected to receive its license soon, has been closed for about 20 years. Work began about 5 months ago, to re-model and re-open it. The re-opened pre-school is expected to serve pre-school aged children older than 6 weeks.
