A Monterey county jury convicted a Parkfield man on Friday. The jury found 56 year old Van Boxtel guilty of several charges stemming from a 2011 incident in which during an argument Boxtel threatened to kill his wife, he then brandished a firearm pointing it at her and fired it as she drove off. Boxtel is facing jail time and a lifetime firearm restriction at his sentencing on April 23rd.
