The Internal Revenue Service has delayed the deadline for people to file their federal income taxes this year……as they did last year….although this year it’s only been delayed until may 17th. The federal tax agency said that some people (who filed early) may need to file an amendment. There have been some new tax rule s issued in part because of the multiple stimulus checks. More details are expected to be released in the coming days.
