Santa Cruz Police officers are asking the public’s assistance in providing enough information to charge a Santa Cruz man with murder. 34 year- old David Douglas Cameron is suspected of fatally stabbing a 33 year- old Joshua Newell. It is believed that the 2 men fought over 2 women. At this time, there is not yet enough evidence for the District Attorney to charge Cameron with the murder. Anyone with more information is encouraged to contact either the Santa Cruz Police Department, or the Santa Cruz D.A.’s office.
