The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is reminding visitors of their lands that target practice shooting is banned until further notice on all lands managed by BLM due to increased fire danger.
Those with a valid hunting license for the State of California, and are engaging in hunting activities, are exempted from this ban.
Additionally, Cal Fire has suspended the issuing of burn permits, with Central Fire and Aptos La Selva Fire districts suspending local burning.
