Two plant sales planned for this Saturday are sending proceeds to benefit local community organizations.
Pickelberry Farm is holding their plant sale at Alta Organic Coffee off Mission Street Extension in Santa Cruz. They will be selling plants that attract pollinators, known as perennials. Proceeds from the sales will go to benefit the Last Chance Community Center that was lost to the CZU Lightning Fire. The sale is from 9 AM to 1 PM in the Westside Santa Cruz area.
In Capitola, a Lavender sale, also taking place from 9 AM to 1 PM offers In-Season organic produce, fresh-cut flower arrangements, homemade masks, and other handmade items. Proceeds will benefit the Mid County Senior Center.
The sale will be in Capitola at 829 Bay Avenue.
