A beloved local business is expanding. Marianne’s ice cream is building a new manufacturing and storage facility on the west side of Santa Cruz. The 45-foot tall factory will be built on Fair Avenue and Mcpherson on the old site of the recycling center “Replanet.” The new operation is scheduled to open next year. The new 10-thousand square foot project will include an 850-square foot factory store. Marianne’s ice cream has been in business since 1947.
