The name of the man killed in a shooting Tuesday in Santa Cruz has been released. 28 year-old Santa Cruz resident Juan Antonio Ruiz suffered fatal gunshot wounds while sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle on Mission Street, north of Swift Street. Anyone with information on this shooting is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz Police Department.
