The public’s assistance is also being sought in connection with a shooting during a theft of beer from a 7-eleven in Salinas. The incident took place around 11 p-m Tuesday July 21st….at the 7-11 on South Sanborn Road. Reportedly as 2 people left the store carrying stolen 18-packs of beer, the clerk followed them outside, and one suspect pulled out a gun, pointed it in the direction of the clerk, and fired-off a round. The suspects left the scene in a dark-colored sedan. Anyone with information about this shooting or the shooter, is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
