One person died yet a dog was found alive in the wreckage after a vehicle went over a cliff yesterday near the Coast Gallery and south of Big Sur Village.
Big Sur Fire, the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, State Parks, and the California Highway Patrol responded to the crash that occurred about 3:45 Tuesday afternoon. A rescuer was sent 700 feet down the cliff to reach the accident scene.
