The Monterey County Board Of Supervisors has put together a 1.64 billion dollar budget for the 20-21 fiscal year. Although they have done their best to be prescient, it’s expected to be a temporary budget (after it gets adopted later this month). That’s because the full impact of the Covid-19 pandemic economic impact won’t be known for at least several more months. The next fiscal update is expected in August.
