The paving project along seven miles of Hwy. 1 from Aptos to the junction of State Route 9 continues tonight. This requires the full closure of the southbound Hwy. 17 to southbound Hwy. 1 connector ramp from 7 PM tonight until 7 AM Thursday morning.
Tonight (Wednesday) the grinding will start in the #2 (middle) lane at Emeline and work its way southbound, continuing with the paving of southbound lanes, starting at Highway 9.
The Southbound Fish Hook Connector ramp will be completely closed from 7 p.m. tonight (Wednesday) until 7 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday) morning. A detour will be provided during the closure.
