Voters in 14 states, including California, will be going to the polls today to vote for national, state, and local races, measures, and propositions. The polling places, and voter service centers, are scheduled to open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. People who still have to return their Vote-By-Mail ballots can turn them in at their election department, or put them into an appropriate ballot box. People can call their local election department for more information on where polling places, voter service centers, or the nearest ballot box can be found….or they can go on-line to www.VotesCount.com (for information for Santa Cruz County), www.sbcVote.us (for locations in San Benito County), and www.MontereyCountyElections.us (for locations in Monterey County).
