Bipartisan, bicameral legislation, designed to help protect Western Monarch Butterflies, is scheduled to be unveiled tomorrow. If approved by legislators, the Monarch Action, Recovery, and Conservation of Habitat Act (known as MONARCH)….could provide protections for the pollinator that is integral to supporting American agriculture. The numbers of Western Monarch Butterflies have dropped approximately 99 percent since the 1980’s.
