Two law enforcement raids in Salinas this afternoon. In separate and unrelated incidents, a suspected murderer and alleged car thief were arrested.
Police said that around 12:30 this afternoon, Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies made an arrest in connection with stolen property and vehicles in Marina. About that same time, Fresno County deputies assisted by the Salinas SWAT team made an arrest in a murder case in north Salinas.
In Marina, deputies recovered stolen property and multiple stolen vehicles. No additional iformatio0n about the homicide suspect is available.
