Presidential Primaries have different rules than all other primaries. Each party decides who is allowed to vote for their presidential contest in the primary. Therefore voter’s registered with “No Party Preference” will need to either change their affiliation….or request a ballot for the American Independent, Democratic, or Libertarian presidential candidate….if they want to vote in the upcoming presidential primary. Anyone registered with a qualified political party will receive that party’s ballot.
