In an attempt to get qualified police officers to apply for patrol jobs with the Seaside Police Department, the department is hoping to be able to offer a sign-on bonus. They are hoping to offer a $30,000 bonus to qualified applicants, coming from other agencies around the country. The Seaside Police Department currently has 11 openings.
