A Santa Cruz County judge raised the bail of an alleged Aptos home invasion suspect. At about 3:30 a-m on June 30th 25 year old Damien Welch was shot multiples by a woman preventing him from entering her Cedar Street home. Welch was hospitalized and eventually released on 75 thousand dollars bail causing public concern. Yesterday (Mon) Welch’s bail was raised to 275 thousand dollars and he was remanded into custody on the spot.
