Community Hospital Of The Monterey Peninsula is now accredited for both its Critical Brain Injury and Stroke Specialty programs. The new 3-year accreditation is for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, which provides for neurological conditions as well as the rehabilitation of other injuries and illnesses. C.H.O.M.P. had already been designated as a Primary Stroke Center.
