A Pacific Grove man has pleaded guilty for his role in a 2018 fatal accident. 25 year-old Stewart Maxwell Napier pleaded guilty to 1 count of Vehicular Manslaughter While Under The Influence, and one count of Assault By Means Likely To Produce Great Bodily Injury. Gregory Anthony Acona was pronounced dead at the scene of the December 5th accident, in which Napier’s vehicle rear-ended Acona’s. Napier, who was under the influence of methamphetamine and heroin at the time of the accident, is expected to be sentenced to spend 7 years behind bars when he is sentenced July 16th.
