Two local banks, Santa Cruz County Bank and Lighthouse Bank announced their plan to merge Wednesday. The combined bank will carry the Santa Cruz County Bank name going forward.
The all-stock deal is valued at approximately $68.87 million. The merger will increase Santa Cruz County Bank’s total assets to nearly $1 billion with seven full-service banking offices in Santa Cruz and Santa Clara counties.
