It’s a bird, it’s a plane… no it’s PG&E!
Pacific Gas and electric will be using helicopters to examine substations through-out Santa Cruz county for the next several days. According to a press release, the beleagured utility company will be conducting wildfire safety inspections by capturing photos and data in: Santa Cruz, Felton, Davenport. Bonny Doon and Watsonville.
The state Public Utilities Commission has designated these areas as “elevated or extreme risk” of wildfires.
