A Carmel Valley teen, who pleaded No Contest to committing Gross Vehicular Manslaughter While Intoxicated, has been sentenced to 4 years in prison. 18 year-old Margot McNally was driving Under The Influence when she lost control of her vehicle and it crashed into another car head-on on Carmel Valley Road. McNally’s 16 year-old passenger, Annabelle Vanderbroucke, suffered critical injuries in the accident, and died 6 days later. The 69 year-old woman driving the other car also suffered major injuries in the 2018 crash.
