The coastguard station in San Francisco is dispatching a crew to seacliff state beach today to check on a 53-foot pleasure craft that sunk off the coast of pleasure point last week.
Beachgoers at Seacliff say there’s a strong odor of fuel leaking from the vessel… that is named “albatross”
“albatross” was towed to Seacliff by a salvage company and is now sitting on the beach in pieces. A spokesman from the coast guard says indeed something is leaking from the boat… but they don’t know what.
