Heads up highway one travelers! As heavy rainfall is expected in the next few days Caltrans is giving advanced warning that highway one in the Big Sur area of Paul’s slide and mud creek will likely be closed. The advisory is not just for travelers but residents as well to allow time for them to stock up on supplies for the storm and plan in advance for the closure. If for some reason the big storm doesn’t materialize… caltrans will notify the public that highway one is open.
