A Salinas woman, who was found guilty of human trafficking, is scheduled to return to court for her sentencing next month. 44 year-old Regina Budiao persuaded a 16 year-old runaway, who was living in Budiao’s tent in the “Chinatown” area of Salinas, to engage in a Commercial Sex Act. Budiao faces a maximum of 12 years in prison…..and she will also be required to register as a Sex Offender for the rest of her life.
