A fitness center employee has been arrested in connection with the setting of an arson fire inside the facility. 24 year-old Christian Cruz is accused of lighting an exercise mat on fire in the group exercise room on the first floor of the 24-Hour Fitness Center in Santa Cruz. Cruz was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. He faces possible charges of arson, vandalism, and resisting arrest.
