The judge in the A.J. GONZALEZ MURDER CASE has continued the case to January. That’s because that’s when a new law will kick in that Superior Court Judge John Salazar says could be used to override whatever ruling might have been made if the trial was conducted before that. 19 year-old Adrian Gonzalez faces charges of murder with a special allegation of lying in wait, kidnapping, forcible rape, and lewd acts with a child younger than 14 years-old. The new law would keep 14 and 15 year-old killers, rapists, arsonists and others in the states juvenile system, until their mid-20s….unless District Attorneys seek 2 year extensions.
