The City of Santa Cruz Water Department will hold a fall bird migration “Loch Walk” on October 27 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Loch Lomond Recreation Area, 100 Loch Lomond Way. Information: 831-335-7424. Loch Lomond Recreation Area is otherwise closed through March 2019. The park entrance fee is waived for walk participants. Walkers should wear comfortable shoes for hiking and are encouraged to bring binoculars.
