One person was transported to a burn center from an early-morning house fire in Moss Beach today. Firefighters were sent to a home in the 600 block of Lancaster Blvd. just before 3-o’clock this morning.
There they found a house fully involved in flames and two others threatened by the fire. Five fire departments responded to the scene and took about 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control. The house was destroyed, and the two other buildings received moderate damage. The American Red Cross is providing housing for the fire victims. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
