The United States Department Of Agriculture has launched an interactive data tool to help rural communities address the Opioid Crisis. The tool enables users to overlay substance misuse data against socio-economic and census data, along with other public information. It is hoped that that will allow leaders and policymakers to assess what actions are likely to be most effective in address the crisis. The community assessment tool is free to use and is on-line on the USDA’s rural opioid misuse webpage or at opioidmisusetool.norc.org
